Is Yu-Be vegan?
All Yu-Be skincare products are 100% vegan.
Is Yu-Be cruelty free?
There is no animal testing done with Yu-Be products at any of our facilities and no tests are conducted on any animals during production. We do not have any third party companies that conduct animal testing for Yu-Be products.
Is Yu-Be paraben free?
All Yu-Be products are paraben free.
Does Yu-Be contain alcohol?
Yep, all Yu-Be products are alcohol free!
Our products contain stearyl alcohol, a fatty alcohol that is different from ethyl alcohol (ethanol). Ethanol alcohol is the toxic kind of alcohol you will find in conventional skincare products, but not in Yu-Be! Fatty alcohols like stearyl alcohol are used in products to thicken and emulsify, helping to moisturize and protect the skin.
Does Yu-Be contain petroleum?
No, Yu-Be is 100% petroleum free.
Is Yu-Be gluten free?
Yes, all Yu-Be products are completely gluten free.
Does Yu-Be contain steroid cream?
No, there is no steroid cream contained in any Yu-Be products.
Does Yu-Be work on eczema?
The trifecta of the high concentration of glycerin, camphor, and targeted vitamins in the Moisturizing Skin Cream all work towards deeply hydrating the skin while cooling and soothing inflamed, irritated skin.

Is Yu-Be safe to use during pregnancy and nursing?
All Yu-Be products are made with the greatest care and are safe to use during pregnancy and nursing (we've never received any complaints from our customers who've used it during pregnancy or nursing, although we have received emails from customers telling us how Yu-Be has helped them heal their pregnancy scars).

Does Yu-Be help with rosacea?
The Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream contains camphor, which is a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient and can help cool and soothe inflamed skin. The vitamins contained in our skin cream formula may also aid in balancing and restoring the health of irritated and uneven skin tone.
Is this cream good for cracked, chapped skin?
Yes, the Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream contains a high amount of glycerin - a powerful skin moisturizing ingredient - as well as enriching vitamins, which create a rich and deeply hydrating skin cream that lasts for hours.
We have received many messages from our customers that Yu-Be has helped them heal and soften hard, cracking heels and elbows, as well as other troublesome dry spots that no other cream was able to do (i.e. chapped lips, extremely dry hands, etc.)
Can I use these products on my face? If so, which ones?
Yes, all Yu-Be products are safe to apply to your face. However, if you are unsure, you can always do a patch test prior to applying our products to your entire face.
Can Yu-Be help heal wounds and scars on my skin?
Yu-Be is enriched with powerful vitamins, camphor, and a high concentration of glycerin, together which help to deeply hydrate the skin while also alleviate inflamed and irritated skin.
By taking care of your skin everyday with a powerful skin cream like Yu-Be, you give your skin a chance to heal from previous wounds as well.
Try applying a dab of Yu-Be onto your wound/scar. If it starts to sting or feel itchy, please stop using it right away.
Do the Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream Tube and Moisturizing Skin Cream 2.7 Fl. Oz. Tube have the same strength?
Yes, they both contain the same formula. The only difference is size! The Moisturizing Skin Cream Tube contains 1 fl. oz. of cream, while our larger-sized tube contains 2.7 fl. oz. of cream.
What's the difference between the Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream and the Advanced Formula Pure Hydration Cream?
The primary difference is that the Advanced Formula Pure Hydration Cream, unlike the Moisturizing Skin Cream formula, contains no camphor and is completely fragrance-free, thus making it the ideal cream for sensitive skin users.
The Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream contains camphor, a natural remedy for irritated and inflamed skin, which those with extra sensitive skin may find too strong. We recommend ordering a sample and doing a patch test to make sure that this formula is the right one for you.
Is the Moisturizing Body Lotion the same as the formula that comes in the Tube?
The primary difference is the water content. The Body Lotion contains more water, which allows it to spread much more easily over larger areas of the body (i.e. arms, legs, back, etc.). The cream contained in the Moisturizing Skin Cream Tube is much more concentrated and we recommend it for smaller dry spot areas, such as the hands, lips, cuticles, etc.
Is Yu-Be safe for my skin if I wear hospital face masks for prolonged periods of time?
Yu-Be is safe for all skin types and for any part of the skin! However, if you have concerns that your skin may be too sensitive for our original Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream formula, you may also try our Advanced Formula Pure Hydration Cream. It is completely non-scented and was made specifically with the sensitive skin user in mind.

Where are Yu-Be skincare products made?
The Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream, Advanced Formula Pure Hydration Cream, and Moisturizing Body Lotion are made in Japan.
The Foaming Skin Polish, Face Wash, and Lip Balm are made in the USA.
What does "Yu-Be" mean?
In Japanese, the words "Yube" mean finger — referring generally to the hands, because our moisturizers work wonders for dry hands and skin in general — and "be" means beauty. The "Yu" is also a play on words for the word "you", so translated altogether, "Yu-Be" stands for "your beauty", while also subtly referring to skin in general.
