1. Cleanse your face (try this cleanser) and pat dry before applying the sheet mask.
2. Unfold the sheet mask completely and apply it onto your face. Sit back, relax, and leave it on for 5-10 minutes.
3. After removing the sheet mask, gently massage the remaining gel into your skin until it's been completely absorbed.
4. Follow up with your choice of moisturizer to lock in the hydration and enjoy the feeling of skin that's been deeply nourished with healing hydration.
PRO TIP: If there is any sheet mask gel left in the packaging, you can close the package, store it in the fridge, and use it as moisturizer the next time you'd like to moisturize your face.
1. What benefits can I expect from using a Konjac Facial Mask?
Skin that’s more hydrated, clear, and soothed, as well as a brightened, more even skin tone.
2. Can I use a facial mask every day?
This varies per person. We recommend starting with 1-2 times per week and increasing or reducing frequency based on results or how your skin reacts.
3. How do I know which facial mask is the right one for my skin?
While there’s no such thing as the “wrong” facial mask for your skin, thinking about what your skin’s current needs are (i.e. acne, dryness, dull complexion) will help you select the one that's best for your skin. Here’s the simple breakdown we offer for our facial masks:
- The Detoxifying Bamboo Charcoal Facial Mask is ideal for those who are dealing with clogged pores, acne, and blemishes.
- The Skin Firming Collagen Facial Mask is ideal for those who have mature skin and desire smoother, more youthful looking skin.
- The Revitalizing Aloe Vera Facial Mask is ideal for those who suffer from extremely dry skin and inflammatory skin issues such as eczema, rosacea, etc.
4. Do I have to wash my face before I use the facial mask?
You will be able to optimally receive the facial mask’s benefits if your skin is not covered by a layer of oil, grime, and bacteria, so it is best if you cleanse your face before using. For best results, we recommend cleansing your face and then exfoliating it with a gentle scrub before using.
5. Should I wash my face after using the facial mask?
It’s actually best that you do not cleanse your face after using, as doing so will remove the nourishing, hydrating layer of serum that you’ve just applied to your face. After removing the facial mask, simply rub the layer of serum that’s still on your skin until it’s been completely absorbed and you’ll be good to go!
6. When’s the best time to use my facial mask, in the morning or in the evening?
It’s totally up to you! If you use a sheet mask in the morning before getting ready for the day and you intend to use makeup, just give your skin at least an hour to absorb the nutrients beforehand. If you choose to use your sheet mask at night, you’ll be giving your skin plenty of time to take in all of the serum it can while you’re asleep.
7. Do I still need to apply a moisturizer after using a facial mask?
While we believe that you can never apply too much moisturizer, it also depends on your skin’s needs. If you suffer from severely dry skin or if you live in a climate that makes your skin more prone to drying out, then we highly recommend adding on a layer of moisturizer after removing the facial mask. Doing so will add an additional protective layer that will keep your skin from drying out and, consequently, promote skin that’s glowing, healthy, and supple. You can check out our moisturizers here.
8. How long should I leave the facial mask on?
Between 10-20 minutes, in order to allow the serum to fully absorb into your skin
9. Can I use the same facial mask more than one time?
Since the facial mask might have picked up bacteria from the time you opened it and applied it to your face, we do not recommend using it more than one time, as doing so may put your skin at risk of infection.
10. Should I keep the facial mask refrigerated?
They do not need to be kept refrigerated, but doing so will give them a cool, refreshing sensation when you do apply them, so it’s up to what you prefer! As there is usually some serum left in the packaging after opening and taking out the mask, if you’d like to save the remaining gel for later use as a nourishing moisturizer, you can close and seal the package and store it in the fridge until you’re ready to use it.
11. Where are the Konjac Facial Masks manufactured?
