Directions

1. Wash your hands before cleansing to avoid transferring bacteria from your fingers to your face

2. Pump a quarter-size amount in your hand and gently apply using circular motions and light pressure

3. After 60 seconds, rinse off with lukewarm water (don't use steaming hot water, as it will strip your skin of essential oils, leaving your skin feeling drier)

4. Pat dry with a clean towel

For best results: Use the Yu-Be Hydrating Face Wash twice a day — once in the morning and once at night — and always follow it up with the Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream, Yuzu Pure Hydration Cream, or the Yu-Be Advanced Formula Pure Hydration Cream to help lock the moisture into your skin!

Yes! This cleanser was formulated to be extremely gentle, non-foaming, and free from fragrance, alcohol, and parabens — making it a great choice for sensitive or reactive skin. It contains sake kasu, green tea, and fermented mushrooms to calm, hydrate, and support a healthy skin barrier.

2. Will this cleanser dry out my skin?
Not at all. This formula is designed to cleanse without stripping, thanks to its blend of humectants, fermented ingredients, and lightweight oils that help your skin retain moisture.

3. Does the Hydrating Face Wash foam?
No, it’s a non-foaming cleanser. That means it won’t create a bubbly lather, but it will leave your skin feeling clean, soft, and balanced — not tight, stripped, or squeaky.

4. What is the pH level of the Hydrating Face Wash?

The pH level of the Hydrating Face Wash is 5.5, just acidic enough to give you the best complexion!

5. Can the Hydrating Face Wash help remove makeup?

The Hydrating Face Wash can help to remove makeup if you use only a light layer of makeup. It can also help to finish off the removing of your makeup by cleansing your skin after you initially wipe off the top layer of makeup.

If used as a makeup remover, make sure to repeat the wash and rinse off process twice.

6. Should I wet my face before applying the Hydrating Face Wash?

We recommend first massaging the cleanser into all areas of your face without water, for up to 30 seconds. Then wet your hands slightly and continue cleansing your face for another 30 seconds before rinsing off with lukewarm water and patting dry (60 seconds total is the minimum amount of time you should apply the cleanser in order for the ingredients to be effective).

7. How often should I use the Hydrating Face Wash?

Since the Hydrating Face Wash is made with gentle, non-abrasive and non-stripping ingredients, you can use it as often as desired. Ideally, every morning and evening, and also when you need to remove a light layer of makeup.

8. Is Yu-Be cruelty free?

There is no animal testing done with Yu-Be products at any of our facilities.

9. Is Yu-Be paraben free?

All Yu-Be products are paraben free.

10. Is Yu-Be vegan?

All Yu-Be skincare products, except for the Yu-Be Facial Masks (contain royal jelly), are vegan

Standard shipping is $6 for US customers. For Canada-based customers, shipping is a flat fee of $20 CAD.

For US orders, we offer FREE standard shipping for orders of $75+

For Canada-based orders, we offer FREE standard shipping for orders of $120+ CAD! Please note that duty fees are not covered.

2. What is your return/exchange policy?

We offer a 30-day return window (from the date of delivery) for returns and exchanges.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return merchandise for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date. Simply email us at info@yu-be.com to get started.

In the event of a return, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. Additionally, your original shipping costs will not be refunded. Your refund will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the product in our warehouse.

Please allow 7-10 business days for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Standard shipping for domestic orders takes up to 7 business days for delivery.
